Hammer Blow to nPa.uK's ED Challenge - UPDATE!!

Fans of nPa.uK were today dealt a devestating blow as it was discovered that thier star 'Short Stopper' has been the victim of a tradgic hardware failure. Zed 'to the' Ex has just made public the details of the rumoured hardware failure, at a emergency news conference this morning Zed released the following statement to our on scene reporters "After many years of loyal and fantastic service, my ATI Radeon 9800se has finally bit the bullet and has suffered a hardware failure". When asked what was the exact cause of the problem was, Zed replied with the following "At the moment the exact cause of the failure is still unknown, there is a possiblity that many years of overclocking the card and softmoding it to a 9800pro might have taken its tole , however it could be simply down to pure old age".
We tried to contact some of the other nPa.uK 'All Stars' to gage some reaction to the news, Baz the CL was "Unavailable to comment at this difficult time", However we did manage to speak to the distraught 6mullet. 6mullet or Mull as he is more affectionaly know commented "I am deeply distressed to hear of Zed's tragic loss. His gfx card has been of great benefit to the clan and has played a key role in getting us to where we are today. Right now I'm not sure how we will cope without it. Hopefully in the morning clearer heads will prevail and we will fight on regardless. RIP Zed's gfx card, we will miss you dearly."
Hopefully this setback will not hold the clan back for long and they will be hoping to have the 'Welsh Warrior' back in action as soon as possible. Zed couldn't give us an expected date at which he would be returning to action but did leave us with a closing statement "Hopefully with the end of the month quickly approaching, funds will be made available to allow a suitible replacement for 9800se to be found, however what ever GFX card replaces the old 9800 it will have a big AGP slot to fill".
Zed also wanted to thank his fellow clan members for thier support during this difficult time, and to assure the fans of nPa that he will be back and on top form as soon as he can.
